Quarr Abbey

New Paraplegic Washroom donated to Quarr Abbey.

Quarr Abbey on the Isle of Wight was about to close its paraplegic respite care facility due to the poorshowering conditions for the patients.

A contractor working on another part of the Abbey asked Stevens Washrooms if we could help?

It soon became clear that funds were not available so Stevens Washrooms in the Autumn of 2016 donated the Washroom for the Abbey.

The paraplegic washroom shown to the right in this visual has been completed and the

unisex toilet to the left of the picture is awaiting funds for completion.

The new facility was opened by Prince Edward.

Stevens Washroom representatives John Lintott and Gary Fisher handed over the keys whilst explaining to Prince Edward the history behind the new facilities.
