Stevens Washrooms adding KRION to its solid surface range.

Stevens Washrooms is expanding its range with the exciting addition of Krion  a new generation solid surface developed by SYSTEMPOOL a member company of the Porcelanosa Group.

It is a material that is warm to the touch and similar to natural stone. It is made of two-thirds natural minerals (ATH – aluminium trihydrate) and a low percentage of high-resistance resins. This composition gives KRION™ a number of exclusive features: it does not have any pores, it is antibacterial without any type of additive, it is hard-wearing, highly resistant and easy to repair, only requires minimum maintenance and is easy to clean

Suitable for projects of all kinds, it is able to meet the most demanding of criteria.

Thanks to its broad design potential and exclusive appeal, KRION™ can be used to create unique settings in homes, public buildings, restaurants and bars, shops, hotels, and hospitals, among other places.

Whatever the setting, KRION™ can be used to create the perfect design solution. It can be cut, joined and thermoformed

Seamless sections can be created, preventing liquids from being absorbed and making cleaning and maintenance easier.

It is an ecological material, as it is 100% recyclable. All products made of KRION™ can be reprocessed and reused in the production cycle.

With the large format and huge array of applications and colours, KRION™ can transform any room or area.http://www.krion.com

Training by Stevens Washroom technicians is underway and machinery and infrastructure is planned to commence immediately.

More information will be available soon.

Stevens Washroom Expansion.

Stevens Washrooms expansion continues with a £480,000 investment in new machinery and facilities.

A new CNC machine now in operation, is  improving controls over production times and increasing versatility of supply for bespoke joinery items. A new Rehau edge bander has  been introduced and this will not only offer glass effect finish on edge panels but will improve quality and efficiency in production.

The new equipment is instrumental in speeding up production, freeing up time to spend on design processes and intensify the range of products to their customers.

The ever-increasing demand has outgrown the storage capacity so a further two storage units have been purchased at the Portsmouth production site doubling the capacity.

Ian Stevens the Managing Director plans to move the company to a much bigger site in 2020 in line with expansion of demand and clientele (estimated to be in excess of £6m) for their designs and products.

In the photograph’s Ian is discussing the companies’ new machinery with Amey Green – Lloyds Bank Regional Manager (for HP and Leasing).

Amey was reported as stating “We are committed to support business’s like Stevens Services that are going from strength to strength as part of our wider plan to help Britain prosper”.

Quarr Abbey

New Paraplegic Washroom donated to Quarr Abbey.

Quarr Abbey on the Isle of Wight was about to close its paraplegic respite care facility due to the poorshowering conditions for the patients.

A contractor working on another part of the Abbey asked Stevens Washrooms if we could help?

It soon became clear that funds were not available so Stevens Washrooms in the Autumn of 2016 donated the Washroom for the Abbey.

The paraplegic washroom shown to the right in this visual has been completed and the

unisex toilet to the left of the picture is awaiting funds for completion.

The new facility was opened by Prince Edward.

Stevens Washroom representatives John Lintott and Gary Fisher handed over the keys whilst explaining to Prince Edward the history behind the new facilities.
